Decor Contest. We are pleased to announce the winners of our third annual holiday house decorating contest: 1st – 1004 Russell; 2nd – 800 Junior; 3rd – 311 Summers; honorable mention – 706 and 708 Little. PELT Committee. The RCA’s Planning, Environment, Land-use, and Transportation Committee continues to meet to discuss infrastructure issues affecting Rosemont, including the Virginia Rail Passenger Authority’s (VRPA) proposals for repair or replacement of the rail bridges over King Street and Commonwealth Avenue. The committee hopes to arrange a meeting with the City Manager to discuss these and other issues, as well as to provide an update at a neighborhood RCA meeting in the near future.
