New Mascot/Colors. Help choose a new mascot and colors for the renamed Naomi L. Brooks Elementary School (survey open through June 2) – https://acpsweb.wufoo.com/forms/w8c6pet05oz6oq/.

Democratic Primary. The primary for Democratic candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Delegate, Mayor, and City Council will be held on June 8. The deadline for early voting is June 5. For more information, please visit https://www.alexandriava.gov/news_display.aspx?id=122551.

Fourth of July. Although the state’s pandemic restrictions mostly have been lifted, out of an abundance of caution (and because masks are still required on school property), there will not be a Fourth of July event this year – but we look forward to seeing neighbors at the renamed Naomi L. Brooks Elementary School in 2022.
