Trucks on West Linden Street

At its October 24 meeting, the Traffic and Parking Board will consider a request to prohibit thru trucks on West Linden Street between Russell Road and Commonwealth Avenue.  For more information, please view the docket and supporting documents at https://www.alexandriava.gov/uploadedFiles/tes/info/2016%20October%20Docket%20Final.pdf.  The RCA Executive Board supports the posting  of “no through truck” signs – like the ones already on West Rosemont Avenue – but also recommends that a comprehensive study be done on the effects of through-truck traffic on Rosemont neighborhood streets.
