Please plan to join us on Monday, August 20 at 6:30pm (meeting at the Sunset Mini-Park on Sunset Drive) for an RCA “field trip”: A representative from Alexandria Transportation and Environmental Services will meet on site to describe planned changes to the intersection of King Street, Callahan Drive, and Russell Road. These changes have been under development for several years and are intended to provide benefits for pedestrians and bicyclists, as well as reduce rush-hour backups. The plans and information, as released last month, are available for review on the City’s website https://www.alexandriava.gov/localmotion/info/default.aspx?id=77933.
