High School Options: The School Board is considering options for expanding the City’s high school capacity, given that a high school population of 5,000 is predicted by 2025. One of the options on the table is building a second high school alongside George Washington Middle School – possibly on the south side of the campus (i.e., Lenny Harris/Braddock Fields). A community meeting at GW is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 5-7pm. For more information, please visit https://www.acps.k12.va.us/Page/2255.
